Job Summary:
As a plating technician in a manufacturing facility, your duties are to use a variety of materials to coat metal parts. Your responsibilities are to operate the equipment designed to coat the products and monitor the process. You will ensure the materials required are added to tanks as necessary to provide the best application of plated material. When you are not plating or coating products, you will maintain equipment, racks in good working order.

Your responsibilities are to operate the equipment designed to coat the products and monitor the process. You will ensure the materials required are added to tanks as necessary to provide the best application of plated material. When you are not plating or coating products, you will maintain equipment, racks in good working order.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Operate equipment designed to coat products and monitor the process.
- Ensure the chemicals required are added to tanks as necessary to provide the best application of plated material.
- Empty out chemical tanks and make new batches as required by the process.
- Use and maintain metal cleaning degreasers.
- Maintain equipment and racks in good working order.
- Powder coat painting of parts.
- Black Oxide penetration coating of parts.
- Stripping parts racks and maintaining as needed.
- Maintain and assure compliance to all health and safety standards.
- Chemical Handling Experience
- Must be able to wear a respirator, and pass required pulmonary testing.
- Using and maintaining metal cleaning degreasers.
- Prior knowledge of plating chemistry or willingness to learn.
Pay Range:
- $20.45/hour - $27.02/hour
